Kumarakom Backwater Tour Package

Day 1

Arrival
Arrival at Cochin around 10 AM is ideal to reach Kumarakom before 12 PM. Check-in to a backwater resort in Kumarakom, leaving you a pleasant afternoon to enjoy the scenic setting of tranquil backwaters. People indulge in fishing, canoeing, speed boating, short sunset cruises etc, while at backwaters. Have lunch and dinner from the resort itself, if you prefer not to travel much around.

Day 2

Kumarakom
The second day in Kumarakom can be spent in travelling around a bit - may be visiting Kumarakom Bird Life Sanctuary, nearby paddy fields etc are worth the time and excitement. Also, consider pursuing an ayurvedic session in one of the authorised centers, at Kumarakom, which is a key highlight of Kumarakom tour packages. Food is a specialty here in backwaters, which is mostly fish based delicacies.

Day 3

Depature
After having the breakfast by 8 AM or so, you may plan to check-out around 10 AM and get driven down to Cochin. You may plan to have lunch either on the way or from a restaurant at Cochin, which has some famous ethnic joints. Consider taking a stroll at MG Road or Broadway for a short shopping experience. Visit Fort Cochin, Mattancherry etc, in case you find interested in heritage of the city of Cochin. Get dropped by evening to board the return train/flight.
